Jackie R. Bala is an Indian director, producer, and screenwriter known for his award-winning storytelling in independent cinema. His debut feature as writer and director, A Life Inside Me (2025), premiered at the KASHISH Pride Film Festival and received multiple accolades, including Best Indian Narrative Feature and Best of Out & Loud at PIQFF Pune.

Over the past few years, Jackie’s films have collectively won 61 awards and received over 75 national and international nominations, including the Dadasaheb Phalke Award (2020) and honors at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI 2021). His work is recognized for its emotional honesty, visual depth, and cultural resonance.
